MUNICH (Dow Jones) – The restructuring of the Siemens IT Solutions and Services (SIS) in Austria, 400 Bodies removed. In addition, Siemens Austria was a part of the IT business in the local country office outsourced, such as Dow Jones Newswires on Thursday from a person familiar with the matter learned. That SIS field of software for Telecommunications solutions developed will be integrated into local society and get its own management, "said the informed person. This Division comprises about 500 to 600 employees.

The restructuring plans by Siemens shall provide that the SIS from the next fiscal year a separate IT is business. SIS, however, remains a wholly owned Siemens subsidiary, Chief Financial Officer Joe Kaeser said on Thursday at a press conference in Munich.

Siemens had announced in the morning that at the German sites Munich, Paderborn and the Greater Nuremberg-Fuerth-Erlangen 2,000 jobs of the IT unit should be reduced.
