HB SINGAPORE / NEW YORK. The U.S. oil price is driven by economic optimism on Monday to its highest level since climbed 18 months. One barrel (159 liters) of the U.S. Plant Variety West Texas Intermediate (WTI) cost $ 85.28 last. That was more than 41 U.S. cents on Friday. Previously, the price had risen to $ 85.89. A barrel of North Sea more expensive by 32 cents to $ 84.33.
The U.S. labor market on Friday published report has ensured a good atmosphere on the oil market, dealers said. In March in the United States were so many jobs were created than it has been about three years. A recovering economy is usually associated with a higher oil demand.
