The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a bill favorable to employment. This hope the U.S. to halt rising unemployment.
The project won the 217 votes against 212 and will cost nearly 154 billion U.S. dollars. The Senate must still vote on the bill.
The proposal includes investment in infrastructure (highways, aviation, water
treatment ,…) to 48.3 billion U.S. dollars. 26.7 billion U.S. dollars is provided for public professions (teachers, officers and firefighters). Moreover, there is 79 billion U.S. dollars to help families in need because of unemployment and rising prices. (belga / vsv)
